The North West Islamic Centre, run by the North West Islamic Association, is the main mosque serving Derry and the wider north-west of Northern Ireland. Based at Hyde Business Park in Pennyburn, it provides daily and Friday congregational prayers, Islamic education, and community and interfaith activities for a Muslim population drawn from across the region. The association also supports newly arrived families and students studying in the city.
