The Umm Kulthum Café is an old café on Rashid Street where the songs of the Egyptian singer Umm Kulthum play throughout the day and her photographs cover the walls. It has been a gathering place for her admirers for decades. It serves Iraqi black tea, lemon tea and coffee, and it stands near Maydan Square, close to the Muradiya and Ahmadiya mosques.
