About Grave of Sa'd ibn Aqil

This shrine in the south of Tal Afar is honoured as the grave of Sayyiduna Sa'd ibn Aqil ibn Abi Talib, a son of Aqil, the brother of Sayyiduna Ali ibn Abi Talib. It is visited by people of every community in Tal Afar and by many from further afield, who come to pray and to ask for the healing of the sick and the fulfilment of their needs.
