Shaykh Abd al-Majid al-Labban was an Azhari scholar of the twentieth century, remembered in the street that bears his name in the Sayyida Zaynab district. His grave is in the Southern Cemetery below al-Muqattam, near the tomb of Isa ibn Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani.
