Al-Manshur Mosque is a small historic mosque near Taiz, linked by local tradition to the Companion Mu'adh ibn Jabal, who is said to have built it on his way to Taiz after founding al-Janad Mosque. It has been preserved through many renovations, the last in 1403 AH. The mosque stands on a high plateau overlooking the road, with a prayer hall and a courtyard, and green hills around it.
