Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi Mosque, in the Salihiyya district, contains the grave of the influential Andalusian Sufi philosopher and mystic Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, who passed away in Damascus in 1240. The current complex, dating from the Ottoman era, is traditionally associated with Sultan Selim I. It functions as a congregational mosque.
