Suq al-Layl, the Night Market, lay east of Masjid al-Haram, in the low ground below Mount Abu Qubays near the birthplace of the Prophet ﷺ. In the Ottoman period it was the market where pilgrims bought what they needed for Hajj. The market no longer exists. Its site lies about 480 metres north-east of the Ka'bah, in the area east of the Haram that has since been built over.
