Sayyida Umm Hani Fakhitah bint Abi Talib, the sister of Sayyiduna Ali and cousin of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ, lived in a house close to the Ka'bah. Several reports name her house as the place where he spent the night of the Isra', the Night Journey, and on the day of the Conquest of Makkah he bathed in her house and prayed eight rak'ahs there. The site of the house now lies within Masjid al-Haram, about 95 metres from the Ka'bah.
