Sayyida Safiyyah bint Huyayy, Mother of the Believers, was the daughter of the chief of Banu al-Nadir. She married Nabi Muhammad ﷺ after Khaybar in 7 AH and was known for her patience and generosity. She passed away in Madinah around 50 AH. Her room was one of the chambers built for the wives of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ beside his mosque. These rooms were brought into the mosque in the expansion of 88 AH, and the site now lies within Masjid al-Nabawi.
