This was the house of Sayyida Khadijah bint Khuwaylid in the lane known as Zuqaq al-Hajar, near al-Marwah. Nabi Muhammad ﷺ lived here with her for most of their marriage, their children grew up here, and Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra was born in this house. Revelation often came to him here in the years before the Hijrah. Sayyida Khadijah passed away three years before the Hijrah, and Nabi Muhammad ﷺ continued to live in the house until he left for Madinah. Its site now lies in the open area beside al-Marwah, on the eastern side of Masjid al-Haram. His birthplace, a different house, has its own listing as the Home of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ.
