Shah Jahan's Quadrangle is the garden court laid out under the emperor Shah Jahan as part of his private apartments in the Lahore Fort. On its northern side stands the white marble Diwan-i Khas, the hall where the emperor received his nobles in private. The quadrangle is a four-part garden with paths and fountain beds, with Lal Burj, an octagonal summer pavilion, at its corner and the Khilwat Khana, Shah Jahan's private residence, alongside. It lies between Jahangir's Quadrangle and the Shah Burj, with the Sheesh Mahal a short walk to the west.
