This small mosque inside Lohari Gate was built in 1606 (1015 AH) by Mir Sadr Jahan, a scholar who served as sadr at the court of the emperor Jahangir. Its original name was the Mosque of Sadr Jahan, and it is known today as Masjid Kharasian. The mosque stands a little north of Chowk Bukhari in the lanes inside Lohari Gate, its facade decorated with rows of painted arches. Lohari Gate and the Neevin Mosque are close by.
