The mosque-madrasa of Qanibay al-Muhammadi was completed in 1413 by the amir Qanibay al-Muhammadi, in the early years of the Circassian Mamluk sultans. It has a stone dome and a minaret beside the entrance, and it stands on Shaykhu Street off Saliba, next to the mosque and khanqah of Shaykhu.
