The Museum of Modern Egyptian Art holds paintings and sculpture by Egyptian artists from the early twentieth century onwards, from the first graduates of the Cairo School of Fine Arts to the present. Its galleries are spread over three floors in the grounds of the Cairo Opera House on Gezira Island.
