This domed tomb was built in 1499 by Sultan al-Zahir Qansuh Abu Sa'id, who ruled Egypt from 1498 to 1500. It is a free-standing royal tomb of the late Mamluk period, built for the sultan himself. The stone dome is carved with a fine pattern and sits on a tall square base. The tomb stands by itself on the edge of the Northern Cemetery, on the busy Salah Salem road, a short distance from the complex of Sultan Inal.
