About Grave of Hafiz Ibrahim

Hafiz Ibrahim, known as the Poet of the Nile, was one of the two great Egyptian poets of his generation alongside Ahmad Shawqi, loved for poems about the lives and hopes of ordinary Egyptians. He passed away in 1932, a few months before Shawqi. His grave is in the cemetery of Sayyida Nafisa, near Ahmad Shawqi's.
