This shrine on al-Yazid Street in Ghayt al-Inab, Karmouz, is honoured as the resting place of Sidi Ali al-Sammak, a saint remembered by the people of the district. It stands in the southern quarters of the city, not far from Pompey's Pillar and the Catacombs of Kom al-Shoqafa.
