This small domed shrine in Abis, on the south-eastern edge of the city, is honoured as the resting place of Shaykh Abd al-Aziz, a saint remembered by the people of the surrounding villages. It stands among fields and houses near the Mahmoudiya Canal and the desert road to Cairo.
