The zawiya of Oglavak stands on a wooded hill between Fojnica and Kiseljak. It was founded in 1798 by Shaykh Abdurrahman Sirri, a native of Fojnica trained in the Naqshbandi path by Shaykh Husein Zukić at the nearby zawiya of Vukeljići, and it became one of the most important Sufi centres of Bosnia. Sirri is remembered above all for his ilahis, devotional poems in Bosnian and Turkish that are still sung today. Shaykh Sirri passed away in 1847 and was buried in a turbe beside the zawiya, where his son and successor Abdulatif also lies. The zawiya and its turbes were badly damaged in 1993, and in 2018 the complex, with its graveyards, was declared a national monument. Visitors come for the quiet of the hill and to recite al-Fatiha.
