Al-Farisiyyah is a mosque and madrasa in the old city of Damascus built in 808 AH (1405 to 1406) by the Mamluk emir Faris al-Din, whose tomb lies within the complex. Like many Mamluk foundations in the city, it combined a place of prayer with a school for the religious sciences. It is still used for prayer and keeps elements of its Mamluk stonework.
