Buško Lake, also called Buško Blato, is a large artificial lake on the high karst plain between Livno and Tomislavgrad, created in the 1970s for hydroelectric power by flooding a seasonal marsh. Its wide shores are popular for swimming, fishing, sailing and windsurfing in summer, when the wind can be strong. Small villages and beaches line the shore, and the lake makes a good stop on the road between Livno and the coast.
