Plava Voda, the Blue Water, is a group of springs in the old heart of Travnik, just below the fortress. The water comes out of the hillside cold and clear and runs down as the Šumeć stream, past stone channels, little bridges and shaded terraces. It has long been a favourite meeting place for the people of Travnik, and the restaurants around the springs are known for Travnik ćevapi and the town's famous cheese. A short path climbs from here to the fortress, and the Šarena Masjid and the old town are a few minutes' walk away.
