Bab Ajyad al-Saghir, the Lesser Ajyad Gate, was a gate on the south-eastern side of Masjid al-Haram facing the Ajyad quarter. The name is the one Ibn Jubayr used, and al-Azraqi counted it among the gates of Banu Makhzum, whose houses stood on this side. It had two doors and nine steps down to the floor of the mosque. The gate was removed when Masjid al-Haram was enlarged in the twentieth century. Its site lies inside the present mosque, about 75 metres south-east of the Ka'bah.
