Masjid Ubayy ibn Ka'b, also called the mosque of Banu Judaylah and Masjid al-Baqi', stood in the quarter of the Banu Judaylah of the Ansar, the clan of the Companion Ubayy ibn Ka'b. The early historians of Madinah, Ibn Zabalah and Ibn Shabbah, record that Nabi Muhammad ﷺ came to this mosque often and prayed in it. The site is also associated with the grave of Ubayy ibn Ka'b, the master of the Qur'an reciters. The Ottomans restored the mosque and its mihrab. Its site lies at the western edge of al-Baqi', just west of the graves of the Mothers of the Believers and of Aqil ibn Abi Talib.
