This Mughal tomb in Baghbanpura is known as the tomb of Jani Khan. Kanhaiya Lal's history of Lahore describes him as a Mughal commander of the eighteenth century connected with the governors of Lahore of that time. The square brick tomb holds three graves beneath its dome and has arched recesses on each side that once carried fresco decoration. It lies in the narrow lanes of Baghbanpura near the bazaar, not far from the Shalimar Gardens.
