About Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings, on the West Bank of Luxor, holds the rock-cut tombs of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom, including that of Tutankhamun. A standard ticket covers three tombs, with others such as that of Seti I at extra cost. It is hot and busy in the middle of the day, so early visits are best.
