The Umm Kulthum Museum is devoted to the singer Umm Kulthum, the most celebrated voice of the Arab world in the twentieth century. It is housed in part of the Manasterli Palace, built in 1851 on Rawda Island. It displays her dresses, her famous sunglasses and scarves and recordings of her concerts. It stands at the southern tip of Rawda Island, beside the Nilometer.
