This Ottoman mosque, with a sabil and a kuttab, bears the name of Shaykh al-Mutahhar. It stands at the end of the goldsmiths' market on al-Muizz Street. The entrance leads to a wide hall, with stairs up to the kuttab and to a room above the sabil set aside for the shaykh of the mosque, and a minaret rises over the eastern facade.
