Al-Abid Mosque stands at the village of al-Quway'ah in the al-Shahil district of Hajjah. It is a seventeenth-century mosque that holds the grave of its founder, together with the graves of scholars and students who taught and studied there. The mosque is a small cube-shaped stone building with a dome, set on a rocky ridge above the village, with a finely carved plaster mihrab inside.
