This is the shrine of Shah Kamal, the elder brother of the Sufi saint Shah Jamal, whose own shrine stands a short distance to the east. The Mughal-period tomb and its mosque are protected monuments, and the neighbourhood around them near Ichhra carries his name. The domed tomb and mosque stand at the corner of a large graveyard in Karnalpura. The shrine is administered by Punjab Auqaf, and devotees gather here in particular on Thursday evenings.
