Al-Razzaz House is a great house built in stages from the late fifteenth century to the late eighteenth, which grew to some 190 rooms. It is one of the largest old houses left in Cairo. Its eastern part was restored between 1977 and 2007, with its courtyards and wooden mashrabiyya windows, and craft workshops now use some of its rooms. It lies in Darb al-Ahmar between Bab al-Wazir and the Blue Mosque.
