This mosque bears the name of Aqsunqur al-Fariqani. It goes back to the Mamluk period and was rebuilt under the Ottomans, who gave it its present minaret. It is a different building from the famous Blue Mosque of Aqsunqur. It stands in a lane at Taht al-Rab', near Bab Zuwayla.
