Sayyida Juwayriyah bint al-Harith, Mother of the Believers, was the daughter of the chief of Banu al-Mustaliq. She married Nabi Muhammad ﷺ after the expedition of al-Muraysi', and the Companions freed their captives from her tribe in honour of the marriage. She passed away in Madinah around 50 AH. Her room was one of the chambers built for the wives of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ beside his mosque. These rooms were brought into the mosque in the expansion of 88 AH, and the site now lies within Masjid al-Nabawi.
