This is the shrine of Sher Shah Wali, an old shrine of Ichhra listed by the Punjab Auqaf department. Ichhra was a village long before it was absorbed into the city of Lahore, and the shrine is one of its old landmarks. The shrine stands beside a graveyard in Ichhra, with a large mosque where funeral prayers are often held. Ichhra's busy bazaar is close by, and the shrine of Shah Jamal is a little over a kilometre away.
