Abu al-Qasim al-Husayn ibn Ruh al-Nawbakhti was the third of the four deputies who, in Shi'a belief, represented the twelfth Imam during the Minor Occultation. He took up the role in 305 AH and held it until he passed away in Baghdad in 326 AH (938). His shrine stands in the old market district of al-Shorja on the Rusafa side of Baghdad, not far from the graves of the other deputies, and it is visited by pilgrims throughout the year.
