About Well of al-Busah

Al-Busah was a well in the lands of Banu Khudrah, the clan of the Companion Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, to the south-east of Masjid al-Nabawi. Nabi Muhammad ﷺ used to visit the clan, and the reports say he washed his head with water from this well and poured it back into it. It is counted among the well-known wells of the Prophet ﷺ in Madinah. The well is no longer visible, as its site now lies beneath a modern commercial building near the road to al-Awali. The listing marks the approximate location for those who wish to remember it.
