This shrine in Bab al-Shaykh is honoured as the grave of Sayyid Abdullah, a grandson of Imam Musa al-Kazim, the seventh Imam of the Ahl al-Bayt. It is one of the local shrines of the Prophet's ﷺ family in the old quarters of Rusafa. The small domed shrine has been renewed in recent years and is kept with care, with a prayer room for visitors. It stands close to the mosque of Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani.
